What this policy covers

This policy explains how Caught at the Window processes information when you use the website and video generation service.

Information we process

  • Account details: your email address, account ID, and sign-in information needed to operate your account.
  • Photos and generated videos: the image you submit, the resulting video, and task information needed to create and deliver it.
  • Credits and purchases: credit balance, purchase status, and transaction references. Payment card details are handled by the selected payment provider; Caught at the Window does not store full card numbers.
  • Service and security data: basic request, device, and diagnostic information used to protect the service and troubleshoot problems.

How we use information

We use this information to provide video generation, maintain accounts and credit balances, process payments, support users, secure the service, and meet legal obligations. Uploaded photos are sent to our AI generation provider, APIMart, so it can produce the requested video. Its processing and retention are also governed by its own terms and privacy practices.

We do not use uploaded photos to train our own models or build a face-recognition database.

Photo and video retention

Photos and generated videos associated with a generation task are retained in our storage for 30 days after the task is created. The AI provider and payment provider may retain information under their own policies.

Sharing

We share only the information needed with service providers that operate sign-in, AI generation, object storage, payment processing, and essential hosting. We do not sell uploaded photos or generated videos.

Your choices

You may stop using the service or contact us about account and personal information. To request account deletion or ask a privacy question, email support@caughtatthewindow.com.

Security and changes

We use reasonable safeguards for account and media data, but no online service can promise absolute security. We may update this policy as the service changes; the date above shows the latest revision.
